As a child of Generation X, I grew up loving this lasagna loving feline, Garfield. We have a Switch in our home so I jumped at the opportunity to try Garfield Kart 2 – All You Can Drift.
This game is geared for ages 6 and up. It came out on September 10 for Nintendo Switch, Playstation 5, Xbox Series X/S, and PC. This game seems to have a very similar feel to a Nintendo game that goes by a similar name. I like that you can play this game solo or with up to four players on a split screen. Up to eight players can play online together.
There are eight different characters to pick from for play. Garfield Kart 2 has of course Garfield and other characters – Nermel, Jon, Odie, and others. The game’s 16 tracks range from suburban streets to surreal dreamscapes, making Garfield Kart 2 a visual treat.

The karts are customizable and the power-ups feature some of Garfield’s favorite foods pet themed items like food bowls, cannon balls, space bubbles, and more.
My teenagers with not growing up with Garfield as I had and sometimes feeling too cool for my suggestions of things to do together, led to my husband and I having some friendly battles playing Garfield Kart 2.
The graphics are cute and colorful. It seemed pretty easy to get going in play. There’s a lot to explore and the different racecourses will keep you challenged. This game is ideal for a stocking stuffer and to pull out for family game nights. It has a suggested retail price is $39.99. This game is made by developer Eden Games and published by Microids. Whether you’re a fan of Garfield or just looking for a funny racing game for kids and adults alike, Garfield Kart 2 delivers laughs and lasagna in equal measure.
