Recently, we purchased two lugs of peaches to can. Along with that, a few were eaten just to enjoy and I made a peach jam and this dessert that was a hit with my family. I wanted to share it with you today.
Fresh Peach Dessert
Graham Cracker Crust:
2 1/2 c. crushed graham cracker crumbs
1/2 c. melted butter
1/3 c. granulated sugar
Filling:
32 large marshmallows
1 c. milk
1 (8 oz) carton of Cool Whip
3 c. diced, fresh peaches
Mix the graham cracker crumbs, butter and sugar. Leave out 1/2 cup crumbs for top. Press into a 9×13 pan.
Melt the marshmallows in 1 cup milk, cool.
When cool, add Cool Whip and fold in the peaches.
Put onto crust
Top with the 1/2 cup of crumbs. Cover and refrigerate. That’s it!
