Flatout Flatbread comes in five kinds of flatbread and in many flavors, like Italian Herb, Sundried Tomato, Honey Wheat, and more.  They are a good source of fiber, low in fat, delicious, and very versatile.  If you have time, check out the story behind the creation of Flatout Flatbread.  It’s rather unique!  This company hails from Michigan.

StarKist Tuna Creations come in a variety of seasoned tuna flavors.  They are all 110 calories or less per pouch.  Tuna is naturally high in protein and Omega-3’s.  StarKist has provided us with 65 years of quality and innovation.

Flatout Flatbread is located in the bakery section and StarKist Tuna is in the canned fruit isle at SuperTargets.  These two products pair beautifully – flatbread pizza, taco wraps, melts, and much more.

I made a recipe on Flatout Flatbread for lunch today.  We tried the Flatout StarKist Sweet and Spicy Tuna Wrap.  I didn’t have mayonnaise so I used Miracle Whip and should have broke up the romaine lettuce because it was a bit too rigid in its entirety to get a wrap that looked better.  The wrap was still was very fresh and tasty.IMG_4087 IMG_4089

Spread mayonnaise (I used Miracle Whip) on a Flatout Flatbread

Place romaine lettuce on the wrap.

Then add StarKist Tuna Creations® Sweet and Spicy, red peppers, and shredded carrots.  Yum!IMG_4093

 

I also made melts with the FlatOut and StarKist Tuna Creations® Smoked Hickory.

I laid out the Flatout Flatbread and then mixed 1 pouch of StarKist Tuna Creations® Hickory Smoked with about 1/2 c. of a mixed cheese blend and 1 Tbsp. Miracle Whip.

Then I spooned the mixture onto the Flatout Flatbread and added diced red peppers and onions.

I placed a second Flatout Flatbread on top and put in a panini press until lightly browned and the cheese was melted.  I cut into six pieces and served.

    I like the Starkist Tuna Creations the best, and I just recently tried that. Before that, it was plain old Starkist in the pouch in water.
