FunBites was created by a mom who wanted to make fun shapes in food quickly and symmetrically for her children to enjoy. This product works with fruit, pancakes, sandwiches, cheese, and more.
To use FunBites, place the cutter on top of your selected food. The popper should be taken out. Grab the handles on the cutter.
Then press down and rock back and forth 5-6 times to cut completely through the food. Press down firmly. Insert the popper top and lift the cutter up from the food. Now push the popper down to pop the pieces out.
FunBites is dishwasher safe. To clean in the dishwasher, keep the popper inserted in the cutter and wash upside down or you may hand wash your FunBites set too.
FunBites is currently available in Squares, Hearts, and Triangles. They are made in the USA and are BPA free.
I was sent FunBites Hearts to review, which is heart and two small hearts made of 10 geometric shapes. Compared to cookie cutters and so forth that I have used in the past, FunBites seems quite durable in design. I have used it with peanut butter and jelly sandwiches and pancakes. The pancake shapes came out clean. It was a little messy with the PB and J sandwich, but maybe I had too much filling. All of my kids enjoyed the fun bit sized shapes, even with a little oozy PB and J.
