One of my favorite skin care companies is Episencial. My son had baby eczema and Episencial Soothing Cream did wonders for his skin. Now Episencial has released a new defense to their natural skin care line – Episencial Mighty Shield.
Episencial is a bug repelling lotion that is safe for even babies (Ages 0+). I had a hard time finding a natural and safe bug repellent for my children when they were babies. I had to use a few drops of essential oil with olive oil and dab it on their forehead, back of neck, and bottoms of their feet to help keep bugs away.
Episencial Mighty Shield has no additives and is free of parabens, Phenoxyethanol, EDTA, SLS, synthetic fragrances, and harsh preservatives. It is instead enriched with essential oils and plant nectars. Some included are: tea tree oil, eucalyptus oil, wheat germ oil, cedarwood oil, and lavender.
Mighty Shield is not heavy nor greasy and actually moisturizes your skin. The scent smells like citrus and tea tree oil. This product also has natural anti-bacterial and anti-inflammatory properties to help skin heal from the blow of previous bug bites.
Directions: Do not use on open wounds or in eye area. Apply liberally to exposed skin as needed. This product is not intended to repel ticks. If using with sunscreen, apply before sunscreen.
We are coming to an end to the peak months for West Nile Virus which is transmitted by the Culex mosquito. This mosquito can thrive and breed with even small amounts of water present. It can develop from egg to adult mosquito in as little as 10 days if the right temperatures and other environmental conditions exist! Episencial Mighty Shield is great for outdoor skin protection from not only mosquitoes, but gnats, and other bothersome insects.
One reader has the opportunity to win a 3.4 fl. oz. Episencial Mighty Shield with the Rafflecopter form below. Mighty Shield has a retail of $12.00.
Right now you can order Episencial Mighty Shield and if you enter EPISHIELD as a discount code during checkout, you will receive a free 1 oz. Episencial Soothing Cream with your order.
