I try not to miss breakfast in the morning, but most cold cereals don’t seem to keep me feeling full for long. Farm fresh eggs on the other hand, keep my hunger at bay until almost lunch.
Egg-Tastic allows you to enjoy a cooked egg with or without the addition of cheese, veggies, and other protein in a matter of minutes. This device is a ceramic microwave egg cooker.
You can cook up to four eggs in Egg-Tastic. They should be mixed with a fork or whisk while in the egg cooker. If you have never cooked an egg in the microwave, it will explode if you don’t pierce the yolk.
A fill line is provided inside the egg cooker so you don’t overfill. It is optional to add other ingredients to the eggs and make an omelet. The product instructions recommend to start with a maximum of two eggs and add ingredients to make sure you don’t surpass the maximum fill line in the cooker.
Then the ceramic lid with silicon lip goes on the Egg-tastic Egg Cooker and it is placed in the microwave. Depending on the wattage of your microwave, 1 egg can be done in as little as 45 seconds and the time increases with a larger quantity of eggs.
I like to have my eggs with just shredded cheese, but it’s nice to have the opportunity to mix it up and add additional ingredients. Poached eggs, scrambled egg whites, and eggs for an egg sandwich may be made with the Egg-Tastic Ceramic Microwave Egg Cooker too.
Use caution when you remove the egg cooker from the microwave because it will be hot and steam will be released when you take of the lid. Use dry oven mitts or pot holders to handle Egg-Tastic.
Once the Egg-Tastic Egg Cooker has cooled, it can be placed in the top shelf of the dishwasher or hand washed. It has a silicon base and lid seal that can be removed for cleaning.
This egg cooker is to be functional with no added fat. I found that the eggs really stuck to the inside of the ceramic cooker without a light coating of olive oil. It had to go through my dishwasher twice to get thoroughly clean if I did not add it.
