In honor of the ’80s and Eddie the Eagle, Fox Home Entertainment sent me a box of goodies to enjoy the simpler times and to have a game night with family as we viewed Eddie the Eagle. Some of my children were a little young to truly understand the movie and there are a few adult situations, but I think this title would be great for teenagers. The story is based on true events and brings forth the message of how you can triumph over all odds to achieve your dreams if you work hard at it.
We started the night with some frozen hot chocolate.
During the movie, we had chocolate nuggets to mark the items on the Eddie the Eagle bingo cards. There were symbols like glasses, ski poles, and more to pick out from the movie. My three children said B-I-N-G-O pretty much at the same time. Then they enjoyed the chocolates.
I got to make shirts for my husband and I to replicate the sweaters in the movie where they had I’m Eddie’s Mum and Dad on too.
Thank you to Fox Home Entertainment for this collection of goodies.
