This is a Sponsored post written by me on behalf of Walmart for SocialSpark. All opinions are 100% mine.
September is here and children are back in school or will soon start. I don’t know about you, but beyond the supplies my daughter has taken to her classroom, I have school supplies around the home that need some organizing.
I was given the opportunity to create a back to school craft for Duck Tape®. I knew there were patterns available, but had only tried the solid colors until now.
I thought I’d jazz up a condensed soup can for my daughter’s pens and pencils using Duck Tape® in Blue Surf.
Supplies Needed:
- Duck Tape® in your favorite pattern. I like to buy Duck Tape at Walmart – great prices
- Rinsed out and well dried aluminum can. I used a soup can for this project.
- Various embellishments
The cans have a sharp inner lip from the tear off top. I wanted to protect my child’s fingers so I wrapped Duck Tape® below the top edge.
A few white paper flowers were attached with tacky glue and then I put a little sparkle at the center of the flowers with glitter glue.
My oldest daughter loves flowers and so this project was created for her.
I am amazed at all of the uses for Duck Tape® and how it can help get your family ready for back to school season. Later on I will be showing you a Halloween craft with Duck Tape® creating a pencil topper for my kids.
