My family loved Disney’s Frozen. It had great music and and an ending that was unique, not the typical princess falling in love with a prince. To celebrate the music and story of the Academy Award-nominated film for “Best Animated Feature” and “Best Original Song”, Disney Publishing Worldwide’s award-winning Frozen Storybook Deluxe app, best-selling books, as well as Musical Magic Elsa and Anna dolls are now available.
We received the following titles to view and enjoy:
Frozen: A Sister More Like Me: Explore a wintery world of magic in Walt Disney Animation Studio’s latest film, Frozen. This jacketed picture book features an original story about Anna and Elsa, the film’s two sisters, as well as illustrations by one of the artists who worked on the film.
This title gives us an account of how different Elsa and Anna are and how they wish the opposite sister was more like them. As the girls become older, they realize how complimenting these different traits can be and how their unique personalities allow each other to see things differently.
Frozen: A Sister More Like Me is recommended for children ages 6-8. It is 32 pages and is hardcover. Suggested retail is $15.99.
Frozen: A Tale of Two Sisters: This USA TODAY best-selling novel retells the story of sisters Anna and Elsa in this 32 page Step Into Reading Level Two reader which brings the adventurous tale of Frozen to early readers ages 4-6. This story is written by Melissa Lagonegro and illustrated by RH Disney. We received it in Step 2, which is for those who can read simple sentences with help, typically preschool-grade 1. Frozen: A Tale of Two Sisters summarizes the story like it is done in the movie with simple words to accustom this level of reading. It has beautiful imagery like we have grown to love from the movie. Frozen: A Tale of Two Sisters is available in trade paperback, which has a suggested retail of $3.99, hardcover for $12.99, and as eBook for $3.99. Disclosure: I received copies of the titles in the post to review. No other compensation was received. The thoughts and feelings expressed are my own.
