Disclosure:  I received four free tickets in exchange for a review of this event as a US Family Guide Blogger.  No other compensation was received.  The thoughts and feelings expressed are my own.

Last night, we attended Disney on Ice:  Let’s Celebrate! at the Target Center in Minneapolis.  This performance has Mickey and Minnie visiting celebrations throughout the year with the assistance of Donald, Daisy, Goofy, and Pluto.

The characters of Alice in Wonderland where the first act with singing and celebrating a Very Merry Unbirthday.  Then there was a bit of Fantasia with dancing brooms…

The villians came out to celebrate Halloween.  Jack Skellington, the Pumpkin King, kicked off the event.

There were some fun beach scenes when Lilo and Stitch visited during the summer celebration.  The ring of fire on the ice was an eye catcher for my children.IMG_6037

I think this was a great show for the entire family.  My kids thought it had a bit of a slow start with Mickey transitioning into the sorcerer for Fantasia, but found the rest of the show very entertaining.  It’s great to see their favorite Disney characters visit on the ice in brilliant and beautiful costumes.

Disney on Ice:  Let’s Celebrate! will be at the Target Center until March 2 (Sunday) so you have a few more days to catch this event.  To catch a listing of showtimes, you can visit the Target Center’s website.  General admission tickets start at $16 per person and go up to $70 each for the front row.

This was our first time attending the Target Center.  If you are new to the facility, I recommend taking a photo or texting a sign identifying where you are at the parking ramps to yourself.   My husband took a photo and didn’t look at until the event was done and it didn’t turn out.  We thought we were in C and we were actually in parking ramp B, ugh!  If you are traveling with the elderly or young children at the Target Center, there aren’t railings on the steps down to your seats like at the Xcel.
