Freeze-dried foods can be a great snack for on the go and works especially well for campers and hikers.  Crunchy N Yummy is easy to store, carry, and serve, plus being nutritious.  It can be eaten as a snack, with cereals, or added in baking, salads, yogurt, or ice cream toppings.

THE REVIEW
I was excited when the box arrived last Friday with the five flavors of Crunchy N Yummy.  I had a few trips this week with my children and thought it would be a great chance for me, my 4-year-old and 2-year-old to try out this great assortment of flavors.  I got one piece of the strawberry Crunchy N Yummy.   Then, my daughters took the bag to our minivan as I was getting our son in his car seat, ready to head out the door.  The bag was empty by the time I joined them!  I made sure they saved a few more pieces of the other fruits for me to try after that mistake.  This was my first experience with freeze-dried fruit.  I was surprised by the crunchy texture and sweetness of the fruit.  It was a surprisingly nice combination.  Strawberry was the favorite with my daughters, but I liked the pineapple best.  I love how portable these snacks are, even toddlers.
