Color Clash Game Review

I have had the opportunity of sharing some of the wonderful games by Blue Orange in the past and here is another one of their great games called Color Clash.  This game is recommended for children ages 7 and above.  1-8 players may play.

Color Clash includes:  36 Clash Tiles, 6 larger Chameleon Tiles, and instruction booklet.  The objective of the game is to always (except in solitaire games) score the maximum number of tiles by finding matching colors between the Clash Tiles. There is a simular version for mobile slots at Easy Mobile Casino for adults.

Here is a close-up of a few Clash Tiles.  The three attributes are:  picture, word, and color (that the word is written in).  So like the tile on the left is red (color of chameleon in the picture), yellow (the word of the color), yellow (the color that the word is written in).  The one on the right is blue (picture of chameleon), red (the word), and purple (color the word is written in).

There are 8 game variations provided in the instruction booklet.  Two games are for 3+ players, two are for 2+, and two variations are for solitaire.

Here’s a glimpse of the “Between Four” game.  The object of the game is to score the most Clash Tiles by quickly covering the correct Chameleon Tile when 4 of the same color are shown face up.  This is before the fourth Clash Tile was laid down, but you can see how it is on the purple Chameleon Tile and the Clash Tiles share the color of purple.  Not all of the games require you to use the Chameleon Tiles in play.

Overall, I love all the variations for play and how it teaches kids (and adults) to think quickly by matching and finding similarities in the tiles.  We had our four-year-old son play along with one of us adults too as a fun way for him to learn letter recognition in the words with already knowing the six colors used in the picture attribute of the Clash Tiles.

Here is a video by TTPM below to give you a little more information on playing Color Clash.  This game may be purchase through various stores located through the U.S.  A store locator is available on the Blue Orange website. Amazon.com sells Color Clash also for currently $14.16.

Disclosure:  I received a Color Clash game in exchange of an honest review.  No other compensation was received for this post.
