Colgate Enamel Health Mineral Repair

Over the last few years, I have unfortunately had a few more dental problems.  A tooth with a filling cracked and took a long time to get adjusted correctly with a new filling.  Thankfully I haven’t needed a crown for it yet.  I also chipped the interior side of a front tooth somehow last year that needed a filling.  How odd!  I’ve got a couple teeth that are now labeled with a “watch” in my chart to see if early signs of decay heal or need treatment too.  šŸ™

I was excited to try ColgateĀ® Enamel Healthā„¢ Mineral Repairā„¢ Toothpaste to try and improve the condition of my teeth moving forward, which is to help strengthen weakened enamel.  With being used twice a day, you are to improve the enamel with vital minerals, like calcium.  The active ingredients in this product are: potassium nitrate 5% and sodium fluoride 0.24%. You can also find the best cordless water flosser here to improve overall oral hygiene.

ColgateĀ® Enamel Healthā„¢ Mineral Repairā„¢ Toothpaste comes in mint burst flavor.  A 4.0 oz. tube has a suggested retail of $3.99 and is available at mass retailer, grocery and drug store nationwide.

This product provides protection against sensitivity and cavities with continued use and also whitens and freshens breath.  This toothpaste is labeled for those 12+ in age.  A 1″ strip of the product should be applied with use.

I like the concept behind this product with making it easier to absorb calcium into the teeth and the overall concept of helping repair the enamel.  I am bummed by some of the ingredients though.  I personally would be fine without SLS, titanium dioxide, and also FD&C blue no. 1 in it.

The ColgateĀ® 360°® Enamel Healthā„¢ Whitening Manual Toothbrush has been designed with polishing spiral bristles to help better remove surface stains and thus whiten teeth.  It has a tongue and cheek cleaner built in to remove bacteria.

This product has a suggested retail price of $3.99.  It is available at mass retailers, grocery and drug stores nationwide.

Disclosure:  I received product samples for this post.  No other compensation was received.
