The cold and flu season is now upon us. CleanSmart, which is managed and produced in Minneapolis, MN, has released a hand sanitizer that kills 99% of germs. It does not dry out your hands like those typically would with alcohol.
CleanSmart contains hypochlorous acid, which is also called “Super-oxidized Water” or “Electrolyzed Water”. It is an oxidant that is actually produced by our own white blood cells to help fight infection. The white blood cell surrounds the pathogen and produces hypochlorous acid to kill these invaders. Hypochlorous acid is nontoxic to humans and animals and there are no known health risks associated with its use.
This product is hypoallergenic and does not contain fragrance. My skin does not feel dry after continued use like it does from other sanitizers that contain alcohol.
CleanSmart will also be releasing household cleaning products in the spring of 2014. They will be adding Smart Spray 23 oz. Disinfecting Surface Cleaner, Smart Spray 16oz. and 8oz. Disinfecting Sprays, and Smart Spray 2oz. To-Go Disinfecting Spray.
One reader has the opportunity to win a CleanSmart Hand Sanitizer Spray and Gel, just like the ones in the picture of this post. Both are 2 oz. size. Please enter below via Rafflecopter. This giveaway is open to residents of the U.S. and you must be 18 and older to enter.
