When Call the Heart:  Heart of a Hero is the newest title in the When Calls the Heart series that airs on the Hallmark Channel.  It is based on The Love Comes Softly series by Janette Oke.

In this title, Abigail questions her relationship with Pastor Frank due to his mysterious past.  The Garrison Gang comes into town to try and secure Pastor Frank back into their clan one more time.

Lee suffers an injury that puts him off his feet for a while.  Faith Carter, Jack’s brother’s nurse in Hamilton comes to town and helps him get back on his feet plus saves a baby with a high fever.  She is engaged and questions the love for her fiancé and the future of her career.

In the classroom, a new girl named Hattie comes to Hope Falley from Hamilton.  She is angry at pretty much everyone for the move and the recent loss of her best friend.  Elizabeth talks to her about the fear of opening her heart up again, but the need of it in order to make new friends.  Cody is still adjusting to his new life with Abigail, but doing well in school.

Love continues to blossom in the relationship between Elizabeth and Jack.  He gifts her a typewriter to help her on her path to writing.  Bill Avery also has a blossoming relationship with one of the widows in town.

I look forward to seeing what is next for this collection of characters in the future.  When Calls the Heart:  Heart of a Hero can be found on Amazon.

Disclosure:  I received a copy of this title in exchange for an honest review.  No other compensation was received for this post.
