In the outskirts of Hope Valley lies a camping village. One young woman, Edith, who was featured on a previous episode is back with her young son and shares how her husband left her before knowing she was with child. Jack attempts to help this young couple reconcile their differences.
Cody’s older sister, Becky, has finally returned to Hope Valley. She is in a wheelchair due to a past illness that has made her legs weak, but there are no other deficits keeping her confined to using the chair. Abigail hopes to adopt the two children, but then Carolyn Connors, Cody and Becky’s long-lost aunt arrives to take Cody and Becky back with her to Davenport.
Henry is arrested for sabotaging Lee’s sawmill and others are questioned. A movie production company comes to town for their next feature film too. Rosemary has a chance to take on performing again. The producer asks Rosemary to come with him for his upcoming moving picture film. Lee’s relationship with Rosemary may be sabotaged with this new development. Elizabeth is trying to start writing and Jack has his eye on a large future purchase.
