I am all about thinking spring lately. I can’t wait to get my hands in the garden and have loved the graciously warmer than normal weather we have been exposed to this winter.
I saw a tutorial on these butterfly hair clips and thought how great for welcoming spring and summer. 🙂 I followed the directions from the Ten Cow Chick. They were not difficult to do so I made two for my girls and two for my nieces down in Texas.
If you would like to attempt making other hair clips, Ten Cow Chick has many other great tutorials. I made the Bunny Bow Tutorial recently for Easter and that one was very cute. I used scrapbook gems for the noses courtesy of my sister-in-law instead of the pink pom poms.
Just a note: if you hot glue sheer ribbon, you have to be more aware of the heated glue. It can penetrate through and do a painful number on your fingers!
I found the best price for grosgrain ribbon through giftsintl-us.com.
