I had the opportunity several months ago to check out The Labyrinth, which is also part of the Lima Bear Stories series. Bully Bean is a recent addition and is recommended for children ages 4-8.
Bully Bean is about the tallest and strongest bean of Beandom. Unfortunately, Bully Bean likes to frequently torment Lima Bear, who is always kind. Lima Bean and the other beans are able to seek solitude in a secret cave from Bully Bean.
Unfortunately, one day Bully Bean found the secret entrance to the cave. Bully Bean does his usual thing, torturing Lima Bear, but a rock in the cave falls on him and he is unable to free himself. Bully Bean has to hope for the assistance of the other beans in order to free him from the fallen rock.
Bully Bean tackles an all too real problem, bullying. Along with the story of these cute little beans that look like bears, an “Extend the Learning” and “Activities!” section are available in the back of the book for parents and teachers to further involve children in this story of Bully Bean. This story is the fifth titles in The Lima Bear Stories series.
