This past weekend, my girls and I got to visit Bowlero at its grand opening. This location was formerly Brunswick Zone XL Brooklyn Park. Bowlero showcases 48 lanes of blacklight bowling with comfy couches and high-definition video walls to add to the experience. There is also a large interactive arcade, laser tag arena for up to 24 players, 2 sports bars, and 10 billiard tables on the property.
Tyrone Carter, a former Minnesota Viking, and a few of the Minnesota Vikings cheerleaders were on hand at the event. A few little Vikings fans got to try their luck at bowling with Mr. Carter.
Later on, a few items from the menu came out to sample, like the 5 lb. Behemoth Burger, which is one of the Oversized Shareables. There is also the XXL Pretzel, Alley Sampler, and the Dunk Tank, a 123-ounce fishbowl cocktail in the Oversized Shareables section. Food and drinks are meant to share with others, right?
Bowlero is set up to be great for events, like corporate holiday parties and birthday celebrations. They have professional catering services with an executive chef on site, full-service restaurant and bar, laneside food and beverage service, beverage packages, and their signature menu. There’s also unlimited bowling and shoe rental plus overnight parties with package options.
Bowlero Brooklyn Park is located at 7545 Brooklyn Boulevard and is open Monday through Thursday beginning at 4 p.m., Friday starting at 1 p.m., and Saturday & Sunday at 10 a.m. For lane availability, reservations, or to plan a party or corporate event, please call (763) 503-2695.
