Disclosure: I received product samples as a Naturally Savvy Blogger in exchange of an honest review.
You may be familiar with Blue Diamond for their tasty almonds. I was surprised to learn that Blue Diamond has been around for 103 years. Beyond these healthy and delicious almonds, did you know they also make a line of wheat and gluten-free crackers called Artisan Nut Thins? These crisp and airy crackers are made with almonds, brown rice, and six different types of seeds (quinoa, flax, millet, amaranth, sesame, and black sesame). There are three varieties: flax-seed, a multi-seed, and a sesame seed version.
A single serving is 13 crackers and there are about 4 servings per box. Nut Thins come in a 4.25 oz. box. The Nut Thins in sesame seed are the only variety with any sugar and it is listed at 1 gram per serving. Sodium is 140 mg on all three and total fat is 3.5-4 grams per serving. The dietary fiber is 2-3 grams per serving, depending upon variety.
I wish I could say that all healthy food tasted this good. With allowing my immediate family members to sample Blue Diamond Artisan Nut Thins with me, I am a bit embarrassed to say that all three boxes were polished off in a single day. They provided a solution to craving something salty and crunchy. I think Nut Thins would be good topped with dips or cheese, but we didn’t get around to those options before they all had vanished.
The package labeling for all three of these products say gluten-free on the front and does mention that these products are made in a facility that also makes products containing among other things, wheat. To have the label of “gluten-free”, the company does test to prove that the product contains no more than 20ppm in order to receive FDA approval for the “gluten-free” claim. Otherwise, I think Blue Diamond Artisan Nut Thins are a delicious option for healthy snacking.
