In Minnesota, winter survival/emergency kits are what I would consider a necessity to have in the vehicle. Here is one item that is great to be part of it or just to have on hand in the home for in an emergency, like when the power goes out. This product is the AYL 3-in-1 Flashlight for Emergency/Auto/Work.
Before use, you need to insert 3 AAA batteries that are not included by unscrewing the cap on the bottom of the flashlight and then replacing the cap after inserting the batteries.
The 1st click will turn on the top/front Cree LED light.
The 2nd click will switch to the 18 white LEDs located on the shaft of the flashlight.
The 3rd and final click will switch on the 11 red blinking LED lights. Both the lights on the barrel and around the head will flash.
The AYL 3-in-1 Flashlight is approximately 8″ in length and 1 1/2″ in diameter so fairly compact and it does not feel cheaply built. The base also has a magnet built into it so you can place it on your car or any other surface made of metal and it will stay put. The body of the flashlight is made of anodized aluminium. The 3-in-1 flashlight by AYL currently retails for $19.99 on Amazon.com and is made in China.
