I am not much of a girlie girl, but I do like to consider products that will keep my skin looking healthy and youthful since the big 4-0 is under five years away. Yikes! I recently reviewed Bio-Scriptives Alo-Verix Advanced Healing and Anti-Aging Cream.
Bio-Scriptives Alo-Verix is a light yellow cream that is formulated to moisturize with aloe vera juice, fatty acids, shea butter, and non-irritating amino acids. It also contains Resveratrol, which has been given quite a bit of media coverage over the last few years for its anti-inflammatory/anti-aging properties. This product does NOT contain parabans, mineral oil, wax paraffin, or petrolatum.
To use Alo-Verix, apply twice a day if you have dry skin. For everyday use and after exfoliation, cleanse face and then gently massage a generous amount of cream onto the entire face. Sunscreen and/or make-up may be applied after applying Alo-Verix. It should not be applied if you have open wounds.
With using Alo-Verix for approximately a month, I have found the consistency to be great. It is not a heavy cream so you don’t feel it weighing down your skin. I thought it did a great job moisturizing for me with just applying once a day. My skin felt soft after just a week of use versus the dryness I had experienced before starting this review with Alo-Verix. It has a scent that I can’t describe when initially applying, but shortly after is absent of any odor.
Bio-Scriptives Alo-Verix comes in a 2 oz. (56g) bottle with pump style top for $40.00.
