Almondina Healthy Cookie Review and Giveaway

Are you looking for a delicious, sweet, and crunchy treat?  Almondina may be the answer to what your taste buds are craving.  Almondina cookies are all natural, with ingredients I know and can properly pronounce :-).  They are cholesterol free and do not contain coloring or preservatives.  You can have 4 cookies (a serving) for 130 calories or about 30 calories per slice.  Almondina cookies are also kosher and do not contain dairy.

The cookies are crisp and thinly sliced.  They are great paired with a cup of coffee or tea.  You can also enjoy them with a glass of milk, but Almondina does not need to be dipped in anything to be enjoyed.  Almondina can also be topped with a soft cheese and served like a cracker.  If you are leaving the house in a hurry, just grab a couple of slices of Almondina for a quick breakfast or snack too.

Almondina was created by Yuval Zaliouk.  He was an internationally known symphony conductor and gourmet chef before ownership of the company that began about 20 years ago.  

His grandmother, Dina, would make a cookie for the family that she called Petit Gateau Sec.  She revealed this secret recipe to her daughter, Yuval’s mother, at the end of her life.  Almondina was named after Yuval’s grandmother, Dina.
