With cooking so often, I need inspiration from time to time for new things to make and try. AllRecipes Magazine features hand picked recipes, meal planning, a large community to suggest tips and tricks, unique trends for the season, plus much more.
We have been debating to start a new Christmas tradition of having the family together for appetizers and not a big holiday meal. This installment of AllRecipes featured cheese and chocolate fondue with what pairs well with them and gear needed to make the next holiday gathering a success.
I try not to bake many sweets over the holiday since I have such a sweet tooth and lack of will power on self limiting. I do bake some to give the neighbors as holiday baskets and like to create many new things year after year. I forgot to grab a picture of them before they went out the door, but I made Light and Fluffy Coconut Macaroons from this issue and thought they were easy to make and tasty from the one that I sampled. Gotta make sure they turned out before giving them away, right? 🙂
