I started blogging a little over a year ago. Nelson Clan started off with me writing about events with my family and has materialized primarily into product reviews, deals, and giveaways, which I do enjoy writing about and sharing.
I had been playing around with the idea of a name change recently and think I should move forward with what is listed in my URL – centralmnmom.blogspot.com or Central Minnesota Mom. That’s what I am, a mom in central Minnesota. It is going to take me a little bit to get everything switched over with the name change. Sorry if this is confusing.
It’s also my wedding anniversary today – a very important date where I took on another name change, my last name. We are celebrating 13 years of marriage.
On our wedding day, it was 92 degrees and humid. I had a big, frilly dress, with huge, puffy sleeves, kind of like the dress Giselle wore in the movie Enchanted. I remember battling mosquitoes sneaking in between the layers of tulle on my wedding dress. We had an outdoor wedding at a park with an old band gazebo as the ceremony location.
13 years later, we are in our mid-30’s with three young children that keep us on our toes. We will face another milestone at the end of the summer when our oldest heads off to kindergarten. I can’t believe how quickly time goes by.
As I embark forward, I hope to continue sharing deals, reviews, and maybe some tips I have learned along the way, taking on each new day with its own uniqueness and try to treasure all that it holds. Blogging is and probably will continue to have a large learning curve for me. Thank you for your support and patience.
