Laundry is something we all do, but probably don’t discuss often. I recently did a few a few loads with Simply SoapBerry™ laundry detergent. This product uses saponins from organic non-GMO soap berries. They are harvested in the foothills of the Himalayan Mountains. This product does not contain derivatives from corn, palm, or coconut. Simply SoapBerry™ was released the end of 2013.
This “green” laundry detergent is hypoallergenic and naturally softens and freshens clothes in any water temperature. Simply SoapBerry™ comes in biodegradable packaging. It is available in a 32-fluid ounce pump bottle that has a suggested retail of $19.49.
There is a baby formula of Simply SoapBerry™ too, which is free, clear, and enzyme free. Aloe vera has been added to this product to enhance fabric softness. It comes in the 32-fluid ounce pump bottle too with a suggested retail of $19.99.
The two bottles I received were to do four loads. It did not say how much of the bottle to add and so I emptied into my HE washer and one bottle (two loads) filled to the minimum line for detergent in my machine. It seemed to clean the clothes well.
The scent when opening the bottle was unique. It seemed almost tart with a light hint of citrus. I really didn’t notice much of a scent to the clothes after they were washed.
