Instructions Not Included features Eugenio Derbez (TV’s “La Familia P. Luche”) who also directs this production. It was released on Blu-Ray, DVD, Digital HD, Video on Demand and Pay-Per-View on January 21 from Pantelion and Lionsgate Home Entertainment on January 21.
This movie became the most successful Spanish-language film ever released in the U.S. with a domestic box office of over $4 million. The film also features Jessica Lindsey (Now You See Me), Alessandra Rosaldo (TV’s “Ni Contigo Ni Sin Ti”) and introduces Loreto Peralta as Derbez’s daughter.
In Instructions Not Included, Valentin Bravo (Derbez) is quite a lady’s man in Mexico. All of a sudden, he gets a knock at the door from a former girlfriend with baby in tow. She asks for $10 to pay the cab and leaves Valentin with the baby girl.
Valentin and the baby start off on a crazy adventure to LA, where his fling’s last known mailing address was. He eventually accepts his responsibility for the child and becomes one of Hollywood’s top stuntmen.
This movie starts off as a humorous tale, but then it evolves into this special story of actually a somewhat responsible dad and all that he does for his daughter, Maggie. Valentin later has to fight to retain the happiness of his little family. This movie will make you laugh and cry with an unexpected ending.
The Instructions Not Included Blu-ray and DVD features an audio commentary with Eugenio Derbez and will be available for the suggested retail price of $24.99 and $19.98, respectively.
