With growing up in the ’80s, I am familiar with Soleil Moon Frye as spunky Punky Brewster. Today she’s an author, entrepreneur, regular contributor on NBC’s TODAY show, and soon-to-be mom of three. Her company, MoonFrye, recently launched their first app too (also called Moonfrye), which is a free photo-sharing program that allows families to create picture collages and designs using different themed virtual stickers. The app is also the first to use auto detect technology for a uniquely creative experience.
Let’s Get This Party Started! was released October 15th, 2013. It is a do-it-yourself guide to fun kid parties. Soleil features 21 party themes in this title. They range from Spa La La to Pirates Life For Me, and of course it wouldn’t be complete without So Totally Eighties. It includes great photos that were done by Soleil’s brother, Meeno. There are theme-inspired ideas for beverages, food, decorations, activities, and tips to share and create with young children. Some of the ideas could even be applied as everyday fun with kids.
