I love fall for the cooler weather, the leaves changing beautiful colors, carving pumpkins, and delicious apples. I received the Candy Crunch Caramel Apple Kit from Tastefully Simple to savor a traditional fall treat with a delicious new twist.
The Candy Crunch Caramel Apple Kit includes delectable caramel, honey roasted peanuts, almond toffee, and 6 dipping sticks.
You will need 6 small room temperature apples to go along with this kit. Wash and dry the apples well before using. We used Gala apples in this review. Then insert the dipping sticks. Open the toppings and place on small plates.
Spray a stirring spoon with cooking spray before using with the caramel. Remove the plastic film from the top of the caramel tray and place on a microwave-safe plate. Heat the caramel at 30 second intervals.
The caramel should be stirred at each interval until it begins to bubble and is completely melted. The contents will be hot so use caution when handling and keep the caramel tray on the microwave safe plate. This will allow you to easily reheat the caramel if it gets too firm to cover the apples. Place the tray near the toppings.
My six and four-year-old daughters were excited to help create these yummy treats.
My four-year old wanted to sprinkle vs. roll in the provided toppings.
Creating this delicious treat with Tastefully Simple‘s Candy Crunch Caramel Apple Kit was a fun activity to share with my daughters. This kit is $19.95 and makes six small caramel apples.
