Have you ever been frustrated by how long your razor blades last? RazorPit’s razor blade sharpener is to provide up to 150 shaves with one razor blade and works with all razor blades. The sharpener uses the power of friction to help remove hair, skin, and soap that makes your blade feel dull. This product saves you many and is a bit more friendly on the environment with purchasing less blades.
To use, lubricate the flat area on the RazorPit with liquid soap or shaving cream
Press down firmly and push the razor forward along the surface four to five times. Move the opposite direction from how you would normally shave.
Rinse the razor blade and RazorPit under warm water. That’s it!
If you pick up RazorPit, if feels like a flexible piece of rubber, but it does help rejuvenate the blades. There is room to store one blade on the sharpener.
I tried my husband’s Gillette blade pictured above and my Gillette Venus blade. Both seemed to shave better after use with the RazorPit. I can’t say that they were quite back to 100%, but certainly worked better than before sharpening, maybe back to about 80% original function. It doesn’t take much effort to lengthen the life of the blades – lubricate the surface and perform a few swipes across the rubberized surface. Wala! The two blades I tried with RazorPit are both multiple blade heads.
The RazorPit Original was used in this review. It can be found available in black and pink and runs approximately $17-21. There are other models of RazorPit available too.
