To be honest, I haven’t read the Bible in many years so I was excited to try out The TEXT. It is tailored for young adults, students, or even new believers. It’s beneficial for folks like myself too who haven’t read the Bible for a while and want to re-learn its powerful words again.

I find it really interesting how the books of the Bible in this version are done with notes of who most likely wrote them, dates, and the purpose of the book as well. An example of this is Genesis, one of the better known books, is thought to be authored by Moses and the dates are 1445-1400 BC. Its purpose is “to explain the origin of the nation of Israel, God’s chosen people”. I thought this was pretty cool.
The TEXT is written in 9-point NET Comfort Print® typeface by Michael and Hayley DiMarco who are bestselling and award-winning authors of more than 40 books including Own It, God Guy, God Girl, and A Woman Over–whelmed.
