Earlier this year, A Gift from Bob, graced theaters and is now out to own on Digital and DVD. This movie is based on the books “A Gift From Bob” and “The Little Book of Bob” by James Bowen.
James (Luke Treadaway) is a struggling street musician in England. He had befriended a stray cat found when he moved into his flat. This independent orange tabby was given the name of Bob.
Every day, James gave Bob the opportunity to stay at home or venture out with James. Most of the time, James would go out with his owner on daily adventures. Unfortunately with being a street musician, income fluctuated a lot and so it was hard for James some days to keep the electricity on in his flat or provide food for him and his furry friend.
Animal Welfare started eyeing Bob and had brought up concerns of if the kitty was in a proper home environment. James knew he and Bob were stronger together, but after a few incidents, he started to question if he was providing the best for Bob. Unknown to James, the local community rallied together to help James and Bob.
This movie is beautifully written and will warm the hearts of any animal lover. It’s a great film for the whole family and is perfect to enjoy during the upcoming holiday season.
