With shelter in place starting mid-March for us and online learning beginning two weeks after, I find it has been harder to limit the amount of screen time for my children. I am thankful that my 13-year-old has been given an outlet to break away from technology and rest her eyes with Diamond Art Club Kits. The kit we received is called Floral Delight. I don’t see it currently available on the website, but there are many other beautiful designs to choose from.
This kit comes with all you need. It includes the pre-printed canvas, 27 different diamond round colors plus extra pieces, two pieces of wax, an applicator with multi-grabber, grip, and a tray.
This has been a relaxing activity for my daughter. She started on the borders and has slowly worked in onto the last few petals and center of the pink flower. As she has progressed with this project, she removed sections of the clear plastic covering.
The canvas seems very sticky and holds the resin diamonds well. There is a key printed on one side of the canvas that corresponds to the code and the resin diamonds have a DMC number printed on their bags to help identify them.
