Davidson’s Organics is celebrating their 40th anniversary this year. They carry a lovely assortment of organic loose leaf and bagged teas. I have been enjoying five of their tea varieties – Caffeine-Free Red Vanilla, Mango Peach Ice, Ginger Chai, Herbal Pumpkin Spice, and Pumpkin Spice.
This company strives to respect nature, has a dedication to high quality infusions, a passion for innovation, and gratitude to their valuable customers. Every tea, spice, and herb used in Davidson’s Organics blends are from small tea producers or small disenfranchised farmers from around the world.
I have been pleased with all of the Davidson’s Organics blends I was sent. I can’t decide which variety is my favorite.
The Mango Peach Ice may seem a bit off for this time of year, but it is refreshing and makes me think of summer, which is pleasing during the super cold snap we had recently.
Mango Peach Ice blends robust organic black tea from South India with a wonderful essence of mango and peach. Ingredients (* organic): Black tea* & natural flavors.
The Pumpkin Spice and Herbal Pumpkin Spice bring me back to the crisp and cool days of fall. They come in loose leaf and bagged teas.
Pumpkin Spice combines organic black Indian tea with a heady medley of organic cinnamon, ginger, nutmeg, cloves and allspice to create a rich and potent cup of tea. Serve by itself, or the traditional way, with milk and sweetener for a perfect “pumpkin spiced latte”. Ingredients (* organic): Black tea*, ginger*, cinnamon*, nutmeg*, cloves*, allspice*, and natural flavor.
Herbal Pumpkin Spice combines organic rooibos with a heady medley of organic spices to create a rich and potent cup of this seasonal caffeine-free tea. Serve by itself, or the traditional way, with milk and sweetener for a perfect “pumpkin spiced latte”.
Ginger Chai is comforting and with ginger, helps with tummy problems. It comes also in bagged and loose leaf.
Davidson’s Ginger Chai has the warm and soothing feeling of a ginger tea with an extra spicy chai taste thanks to our blend of black tea, herbs and pungent spices. This unique blend has all of the flavors and qualities you’d expect from a chai but with the kick of ginger. Being used for more than 2,000 years by Ayurvedic practitioners, ginger has been known to aid digestion, relieve stomach problems (nausea and motion/morning sickness), intestinal gas as well as menstrual cramps. Enjoy a cup before or after any meal. Add milk and sweeter to taste to make a delicious ginger chai latte. Ingredients (* organic): Ginger*, lemongrass*, licorice root*, peppermint*, black pepper*, black tea* and natural flavor.
Red Vanilla is caffeine-free and comes as loose leaf or bagged. I have enjoyed South African Rooibos before by itself and the addition of vanilla makes it a rich blend. I felt it was savory on its own without sweetening or milk.
Red Vanilla blends healthy rooibos with naturally sweet vanilla bean flavor. Delicious served hot, with the addition of a little milk or a touch of honey or agave. Ingredients (* organic): Rooibos* and natural flavor.
January is National Hot Tea Month. To maybe cut back on coffee intake, to increase antioxidants in your diet, or to just savor a new and robust flavor, enjoy a refreshing cup of tea from Davidson’s Organics.
