I was recently sent the Sonterra by Pfister. It is a two handle kitchen faucet in chrome finish with porcelain handles. Our kitchen faucet isn’t that old and so thankfully we were able to install this product for a family member.
This faucet and side spray is for a four hole kitchen sink. The product box includes:
- Faucet
- Side Spray
- Installation Hardware
- Step-by-Step Instructions
The packaging says you may need supply lines, plumber’s putty, and adjustable wrench to complete installation.
The Sonterra features washerless valving and Pfast Connect™ hoses for ease of installation. It has a Pforever Seal – advanced ceramic disc valve technology with a never leak guarantee too. This product has a lifetime warranty for guaranteed finish and function for life with the Pfister Pforever Warranty.
My husband turned off the water and disconnected the existing faucet and side spray wand. He positioned the new faucet in the existing sink holes and then tightened it down when they were centered in the holes. The same was done for the side spray.
The water was turned back on and the faucet and side spray were turned on while my husband inspected underneath for any water leaks. Pictured above is the new hardware after installation. Please excuse my finger prints all over the shiny chrome finish. The entire project took a little under 30 minutes.
And the family who has the new faucet loves it! She said it is easy to operate and likes the high arch spout of the faucet for added clearance under it. The spout will also swivel 360 degrees. The sprayer has a lot of pressure, which is great too. It produces 1.8 gpm @ 60 PSI, which is good for energy savings also.
The Pfister Sonterra has a list price of $113.80. To learn more about the Sonterra and other faucet models by Pfister, please visit their website.
Disclosure: I received a Pfister faucet to review. No other compensation was received for this post. The thoughts and feelings expressed are my own.
