Dental health is very important, especially with children. This cements habits for good oral hygiene to last a lifetime. I was sent The Natural Dentist’s line of children’s toothpaste to sample with my children. I received the The Natural Dentist Cavity Zapper Toothpaste that contains flouride and The Natural Dentist Plaque Zapper Toothpaste that is flouride-free.
The Natural Dentist products do not contain sodium lauryl sulfate (SLS), which can irritate tissues of the mouth, and there are no artificial flavors, sweeteners, or colors in their products. They are sweetened with xylitol and sorbitol that is sourced from corn. I can not find if the corn used is non-GMO. The toothpaste flavors are Berry Blast and Groovy Grape. My kids are fond of the flavors.
The active ingredients in the Plaque Zapper are peppermint and sage oil. The active ingredient in Cavity Zapper is sodium flouride. The only ingredient I’m unsure of in their toothpaste is titanium dioxide, which is usually used in toothpaste and other products like paints and sunscreen to make them white. All three toothpaste are almost a clear gel in color. Personally, I would prefer it removed in the toothpaste my family uses if it is only beneficial in making the paste look aesthetic.
The Natural Dentist products are available at various retailers, like select Walmart and Target stores nationwide. To learn more, please visit http://www.bleedinggums.com

I’m going to look for this next time I go shopping. I think that my daughter would enjoy the variety of flavors & I love how conscious they are of the ingredients they include.
