Red Gold Tomatoes recently offered me a unique challenge – build my own “snackadium”. Now to be honest, when I first heard of the term, I didn’t know exactly what it was. Red Gold Tomatoes are big football fans so thankfully they provided me an image of their snackadium and I was surprised how many images popped up when I later googled the term. Snackadiums are a fun way to present game day munchies in stadium shaped fashion.
To make our snackadium, I made rice crispy bars in a 9×13 pan and added some green food coloring when melting the butter and marshmallows to make it look like turf. My husband helped out in decorating after work today. The goal posts are made of cheddar cheese and the bleachers are celery sticks with raisins. You could add peanut butter or cream cheese to help adhere the raisins to the celery sticks.
Then I made some vanilla creme frosting to mark out the field lines of the snackadium. Yogurt flavored raisins and milk chocolate double dipped peanuts dot the field. ๐

Karen, this is great! I’ve never heard of a Snackadium before (I’m not a football fan but I AM a snack fan) and I love it!
