Treasury of Bible Stories: Rhythmical Rhymes of Biblical Times is part of the Magnificent Tales series. This title is recommended for children ages 4-8 and features a catchy new twist to Bible stories, rhyming words.
The book features eye-catching images for young and old alike to enjoy. I believe the author, Kelly Pulley, is also the illustrator for this title. There are 20 stories in this collection. It begins with Adam and Eve being tricked by the snake and the building of Noah’s Ark. It ends with the stories of crucifixion and resurrection of Jesus.
My youngest at age 3 liked the images and just having it part of our bed time routine. My girls at 5 and 7 enjoyed the wording and thought some of the stories were even a bit funny by the rhyming words provided by the author. Since they were all entertained, they continued to look forward to continuing on with the stories that seem fairly true in simplified form.
Treasury of Bible Stories is approximately 340 pages in length and was provided to me in a durable hardcover. The drawings are magical and the words fashioned in rhymes make young readers want to read and learn more.
