My son has a play mat in his bedroom with roads to drive on, but sometimes it is fun to make the route travel to other places and it isn’t always practical to move the large mat. We recently experimented with InRoad Toys PlayTape. This review features the Classic Road Series™, but there are train tracks (Classic Rail Series™) and variations to the Classic Road Series™.

My children thought it was awesome to temporarily run roads through the kitchen. I found it is very important to press the ends down firmly or they will start to peel up quickly. I think it does make a significant difference in longevity. You can tear the tape, but it will leave a jagged edge so I preferred cutting the PlayTape. 
PlayTape provided a couple of days of unique fun. Beyond the home, this product can be taken with on the go. It just needs a flat surface to create roads anywhere.
