Whiplash Eyelash Curler Review

Whipolash Eyelash Curler

Unfortunately, I do not have dense, luscious lashes so I when I have time and go out, I put mascara on or curl and apply mascara.  My husband has better looking lashes naturally than I do!

After all my years of applying mascara and curling, I only learned a few years ago that I was doing it in the wrong order.  It is recommended to curl lashes and then apply the mascara so you don’t damage and cause breakage of the lashes and the curler can clump the mascara too.  I had been using a Revlon Eyelash Curler and received a Whiplash Eyelash Curler to review, which I have used over the last two weeks.

The Whiplash Eyelash Curler retails currently for $14.88 on Amazon.com and has free shipping with Prime.  Inside the box was the eyelash curler, contact information on a card, and refill cushion pads.  Whiplash Eyelash Curler

Look at all of these replacement pads!!  There were 10 in the bag!  The box says “comes with 3 cushion pads” and the Amazon description says it comes with five so I can’t guarantee how many you will receive with your purchase.  I was baffled when I saw this bag full.

The Whiplash Eyelash Curler has a clip to hold the handles together.  It’s nice for storing the device, but it does take a little bit to get used to if you haven’t had one with a clip before.  I would pick it up and bring it up to my eye, forgetting that I needed to undo the clip first.  I thought this curler had handles that were a little thicker than my Revlon so my thumb and middle finger were firmly seated in the finger holders.

With the Whiplash, I felt that I could get closer to the eyelash roots than with my other curler and thus create a better curl.  If my husband gets time beyond work and repairing our basement from flooding we experienced two weeks ago, I will have him help take pictures of my lashes and update this post.  So far I like this curler a lot, but can’t explain the surplus of replacement cushion pads!
