I have had the pleasure of featuring products offered by Schwan’s in the past. Today, I would like to share with you way that your local organization or group can partner with Schwan’s to reach upcoming fundraising goals. This new online fundraising platform is called Schwan’s Cares™.
With Schwan’s Cares™, financial support can be raised to help support your local sports group, non-profit organization, plus more. Creating a campaign is free and you never have touch money or product. I remember selling magazines, fruit, and chocolate bars as a kid and the need to record orders, handle goods, and also collect money. You are free of these duties with a campaign through Schwans-cares.com.
To earn money with your campaign, supporters would order online or by phone and then their product(s) are delivered directly to their door. During the first 30-45 days of your online fundraiser, you could earn $10 on every $25 Schwan’s eCertificate ordered (one per person/per campaign) and 20% on every food purchase. After the initial time frame, 5% would be earned during the rest of the year on orders.
Supporters of the group’s fundraising web page are able to shop online and order from more than 350 of Schwan’s home-style foods. Some of the qualifying items are:
Four Cheese Pizza
Made with a crust that is crunchy on the outside and has soft inside. Each piece features Schwan’s special herb-flavored sauce and is topped with 100% real mozzarella, cheddar, provolone, and Parmesan cheeses.
Fire Grilled Chicken Breast Meat for Fajitas
Chicken breast strips that are fully cooked and marinated in fajita seasonings and herbs.
Roasted Peppers and Onions
A flavorful blend of red and green bell peppers with sweet yellow onions that are lightly roasted. They are then individually frozen to lock in flavor and their crisp texture.
I used these two items together to make a fajita bake.
They are great together in fajitas.
The grilled chicken is also great on top of a simple salad.
To start a fundraising campaign, you will want to create a page, invite all of your friends to build a team, share your campaign on Facebook, Twitter, via e-mail, face-to-face, video, or by phone; get support by shopping and earning dollars toward your campaign. 20 days after the last day of “active period”, which is that first 30-45 days, your organization will received one check. A beneficiary delegated by your group will receive a check each quarter during the “annuity period” which is approximately 320 days following the “active period”.
I wanted to share a couple Minnesota groups who are currently working on their Schwan’s Cares™ Campaign:
Ricori Boys and Girls Track currently at $456 of their $2000 goal. They have recently started the “annuity period” of their campaign.
The ROCORI Track team is excited to host the Section 8AA Prelim meet this Spring and the Section Finals in 2015. Help us to host quality meets and purchase a automatic timing system to compliment our updated track facilities. The high jump and pole vault pits also need to be updated and replaced. Your help will make our team provide quality practices and run top quality meets.
Alexandria Marching Band currently at $595 of their $3000 goal. They are currently in the “active period” of their campaign.
Please help our students go to Norway in June 2015. Their trip cost is $2,800 per student
Disclosure: I received samples of Schwan’s products available to purchase with Schwan’s Care. No other compensation was received. The thoughts and feelings expressed are my own.
