Cleaning clothes is probably something most of us don’t put a whole lot of thought into, but I think we genuinely desire using products that are safe for our families and the environment whenever we can, even with the laundry. Here’s a non-toxic, economical, 100% natural product for your laundry called Selectial’s MyGreenFills. They are great for HE washers too.

I received the MyGreenFills Color Safe Brightener, Unscented Laundry Soap, Fabric Softener, and Enzyme Stain Remover. They are all refillable. For all but the Enzyme Stain Remover, there are packets that are to be added to the jugs and mixed with just warm water. A fill line is shown on the label.

The Enzyme Stain Remover is a powder that is added to a clear plastic container and used with a small spoon that is included.
For the detergent and softener, 1/3 cap (1 oz.) are used in HE washer and 2/3 cap for standard washers. For the brightener, 2/3 cap (2 oz.) should be used for HE washers and a full cap for standard washers is recommended. The powdered stain remover requires just one tiny spoonful per load. The cost to run is about $0.12 a load (depending on quantity of refills purchased) for the detergent and MyGreenFills products work in cold water.
With using these products, my family’s clothes smell clean and free of any scents. I have been hanging my clothes on the line with warm weather and use the fabric softener to help combat some of the stiffness from line drying. The brightener is nice for dingy socks and much more.
The only thing I wish was different about the product would be filling the bottles. There is a fill line on the label, but I really had to play with the lighting in my home to see where the liquid was situated so I didn’t add too much or not enough. I’m not sure how that could be changed unless maybe a see-through window was added.
I used the Enzyme Stain Remover on a few icky stains, like my daughter’s bathing suit that she got marker on and a shirt of my other daughter’s that had something purple on it.
Here they are after. The swimsuit is now stain free.
The shirt still had some purple on it, but I think it may be an old stain and possibly paint from school. I may have missed it when I first washed in and accidentally set it in. It’s lighter, but unfortunately still there.
