My sister and her family are currently living in Italy so this book gives me a glimpse into some of the great dishes they might be sampling while in the country. The author, Anna Del Conte, shares a vast array of over 100 recipes that include risotti, antipasti, pasta, dolci, and much more in Italian Kitchen. There are many mouth watering images included in this title too. The recipes in this title were originally published as four separate volumes (Antipasti, Pasta, Risotti, and I Dolci) in 1993. Now these tasty recipes are together in this single edition, Italian Kitchen. The first three volumes are Anna’s favorite recipes for famous Italian dishes. The fourth volume, I Dolci, is for traditional Italian desserts that are not well-known outside of Italy.
I had pictured much of Italian cuisine including cured meats, but many of Anna’s recipes are actually vegetarian friendly. Italian Kitchen even explains how you can make homemade pasta. A few of the ingredients suggested in the recipes look to be a bit specialty, but the end creations look amazing. One reader will win a copy of Italian Kitchen. Please enter below via Rafflecopter.
