BabyFirst is fun-filled programming created specifically for tots and their parents. Join adorable characters from around the globe while they explore numbers in Adventures in Counting! The high energy brought to the show by its furry friends helps young viewers learn number recognition from one all the way to five. So come with us on an adventure around the globe!

Here is an image from the Color Crew.  The crayons color the items that are typically their color, like yellow for banana.  Sometimes these friendly crayons make a mistake and a helpful eraser arrives on the scene to correct the incorrectly colored item.

Impression:  I like how these videos tackle important subjects for youngsters, like learning colors, shapes, counting, and other concepts.  There is repetition in a lot of the videos that can be helpful with learning.  My son, who is two-years-old, liked when the videos started, but was ready to move on to playing with his toys after half an hour.  I don’t have a problem with that.
I have read debates on watching television in young children and if it is good for them.  Some believe it can improve their skills of learning language and so forth, others feel it takes them away from time that can be spent with interacting with others and productive play.  I think it is okay when it is limited.

BabyFirst programming is colorful and the characters featured are kind, trying to even tackle some social skills.  These videos are designed for parents and children to watch together.
